I don't mind a punt from an inferior league, that's what a punt is.

Igamane & Marcus Edwards in, Garner is back to help cover the loss of Mangala and we have Armstrong to help there
Ferguson currently injured foot/ankle injury, PL injury web site saying POTENTIAL return 8th February, would be madness to take a gamble on him being fit to play by then.

Not many come from any leagues and become top scorers in the PL. If you look at most of the decent strikers in the PL they've either spent most or all of their career there or come from an overseas league at an early age. The PL's also been littered with average strikers who've managed to make good careers (financially) while not being particularly good players.

He might end up shite, he might end up in some far flung country but he might also be good enough to play at this level and if the money's right then he could be worth a go.

He'll end up back at Rangers in a season or so for half the fee after we've paid up his contract.

If we get him I hope he's great but it's not coincidence that players from the same league struggle to even get noticed in more competitive leagues. We wouldn't want the top scorer in League one so why this fella.

Maybe he's better than a League One striker?

Can see us just getting a couple of average bodies in but I would LOVE a random last minute signing of someone who I’m excited about.

Not going to lie but I’ve missed the old transfer day scrambles and not knowing if we’d get anyone then a random player coming in. After all the disappointing signings since we came in to money I’m craving a bit of nostalgia

Fuckinell! You’ve just made me remember that transfer deadline day had been a highlight of the season for me for a while, because I could hope something transformational could happen.

The last few years with ffp - nowt!

This is fucking sad as fuck.

He'd say he was shite and we should have gone for Kyogo and got Scott Brown as manager when we sacked Dyche.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's at the game, he's been a lifelong Celtic fan since he was about 30. 🙂
