Resale Platform
Just wondering if anyone knows what ticket availability is like on the official resale platform and whether it's worth buying an official membership. Hoping to take the Mrs to Goodison for one last time before the end of the season but don't really fancy paying £100+ per ticket from the likes of Stuhub etc.
Could always just wait for a game to go on general sale but doubt there's much chance of getting two decent seats together.
Suppose there will be loads of folk thinking the same, so might just have to take the hit and pay over the odds.

Re: Resale Platform
You need membership to get any ticket either direct from the club or via the resale platform, they never get to general sale, in fact even as a member they'll sell out in 30 to 40 minutes unless you get the first window but you need to have been to 15 games last season. Resale platform is about the only chance but even then there's few ever available.Pedrotheblue wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 7:59 pm Just wondering if anyone knows what ticket availability is like on the official resale platform and whether it's worth buying an official membership. Other than that take a chance of Stubhub or one of those hospitality sites like Sportsbreaks or something like that.
Re: Resale Platform
£35 quid for a membership and £60 for a ticket. You're already looking at near £100 each the official way.
Re: Resale Platform
Worth signing up for the Sportsbreaks mailing list if money is no object for getting to Goodison while you can - they had Merseyside derby tickets yesterday (sold out almost immediately).
But yeah, membership is your best bet - United tickets were available yesterday on the OS.

Re: Resale Platform
Thanks for the replies, fellas.
Mrs is actually encouraging me to just take the hit and pay over the odds, she's only been to a handful of games over the years but even she's getting nostalgic. As has been said, membership and ticket takes it up to around £100 regardless.
Assuming having a membership only entitles me to one ticket per membership? Had a membership a couple of years back but can't remember the diner details.
Going to have to fork out either way as I can't imagine never watching us at Goodison ever again.

Re: Resale Platform
You can only get one ticket per membership, so if you want a ticket for you and wife you'll need to buy two memberships.

Re: Resale Platform
Ended up getting two tickets for next weekend v Bournemouth off a resale platform, £100 each. Not too bad all things considered.
Thanks again.

Re: Resale Platform
@Pedrotheblue, which resale platform did you go through?
I was queuing literally 10 seconds after 10 this morning - perhaps even before as the email I received came through at 09:59 - but half an hour later, I was still miles back in the queue and they'd all sold out.

Re: Resale Platform
What the club don't tell you is Ticketmaster open a queue up to an hour before the advertised start time for general sales. Try getting in really early for the next sales.AllyBlue14 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 6:41 pm I was queuing literally 10 seconds after 10 this morning - perhaps even before as the email I received came through at 09:59 - but half an hour later, I was still miles back in the queue and they'd all sold out.
Having said that, tickets for recent home games have popped up for resale on the Everton platform, so worth having a check every so often especially if you only need one.
And if that fails, the GOT forum has a very active face value ticket resale thread.
Re: Resale Platform
The queue placement is random tbf. I was on my phone this morning at 9:10 and my laptop at 9:40 and got in on my laptop first.
Maybe I'm just bitter about missing out on a ticket but it took until 10:37 for the Man United match to get sold out officially, yet I got in at 10:20 this morning and there were no tickets left and reading online then it seems like they all went long before that.
I know it's getting close to the end but I just don't really buy that West Ham sells quicker than Man United. Something stinks.

Re: Resale Platform
Think a Saturday 3pm will always sell quicker than a 12.30pm kick off but you're talking about 10-15 minutes difference, it'll only get worse as the games tick off too.

When I got in that early, I thought I was pretty likely to get something somewhere. Have missed out a fair few times but never that early.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Re: Resale Platform
This is good to know. I'm going to be trying as hard as I can to get a ticket for the West Ham game as my last at Goodison.Trowel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:06 pm What the club don't tell you is Ticketmaster open a queue up to an hour before the advertised start time for general sales. My wife is off to Poland for a long girls weekend so I'm home alone and thought this would be a great chance to go up on my own an get my final dose of Goodison.
On that note, I know Goodison tickets are like gold dust and people will likely have close mates who will be after tickets over some randomer on a forum, but if anyone has or knows of any spare for the West Ham game on 15 March, then I'm dead keen.
EDIT: Just seen it's sold out on the Everton site, do tickets pop up again as we get closer to kick off? Or is that it now?
