Re: Beto

I’d keep Beto for now at least until the summer.

Assuming the Alcaraz deal is going ahead then I think we just need to bring in another attack minded midfield player and then we should be ok.

Hoping and praying we don’t pick up more multiple long term injuries……don’t tell me I’ve jinxed it.

Play a ball in behind and that's what he's capable of.

Moyes will have worked on that in training as soon as Dom got injured.

Dyche would have just told him to leg it round and get stuck in.

Really happy for him, you can tell what it means to him and it does contrast a bit to the maybe want away DCL.

I know Beto and fans probably thought he was heading back to Italy...but maybe this has the chance to be an unforeseen redemptive arc?

Anyhow, for today at least, just super happy for him.

i really like beto, he is limited but if u play him right he has something to offer and i feel like he has worked on his negative parts of his game and was trying to hold the ball better

he has a great attitude and u can see it on his face how much he wants to do well for us

His second goal was a lovely finish, cool as a polar bears scrotum.

Buzzing for him, he's ungainly and a bit of a headless chicken at times but somehow it's still effective, play to his strength and you get the rewards. His confidence will be sky high after that.
