What's the comparison like to Goodison for how close the fans are to the pitch? Hopefully keeping the intimidation levels similar when we move in.

Can we go around the ground now or is it still fenced off?

Think it’s pretty similar but the rake at BMD is steeper creating a more enclosed feeling plus I’m sure I read the design improves the acoustics, pushing noise down to pitch level. Part of the brief was to be intimidating.

Will be a good while until that I think, looks like the Everton Way will take a while to lay plus a crane on site with the scaffolding etc. Maybe we'll know more by the time the 3rd test event is announced.

Is there any news on what is happening with Goodison? It's all gone a bit quiet

Just bought a stone for my (soon to be here) daughter. Quite an emotional moment, which caught me off guard. Even if she's not into football it will be a special thing for us to share.

My YT feed seems to be coming up with a run of videos about how the world's oldest purpose built football stadium is soon to be demolished. International content too, Germans and Americans doing match day blogs, lamenting the loss of the iconic stadium.

It's buming me out man. :(

Absolutely. I bought one with my dad and daughter included. Dad loves the club, daughter doesn’t really like football. But I will bring her up for a match at some point regardless. I think (and hope) the new stadium will have more availability to allow all 3 of us to sit together in a match, something that seems like a distant dream at Goodison.

Everton Way is planned to be completed in June or July I think? That might be the earliest time fans can go visit the ground outside of the test events?

I bought one in memory of my old man and my uncle who used to bring me when Dad was working, it’s going to be a massive
task find it though isn’t it, how big many stones will there be in total ?

I think they are planning to communicate to fans where their stones are rather than just saying its that grey one over there :)

Surely going to sell it to ‘ourselves’ following the Chelsea model.
