I'm glad he didn't get binned off in January, let's put it that way. Absolutely can't fault the effort and while this has to be a purple patch, if he continues to work as hard as he is, he's definitely worth his place.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
I have seen his goal a few times now and that is a fucking tremendous finish. Great first touch and a lovely little dink with the big toe, spinning into the net. That’s a touch of class from a proper in form striker.
Dinosaur Dyche just basically said do what Dom does which isn’t his game with back to goal. The difference with the ball in front of him and down the sides shows his true strengths

4 goals on 42 PL games under Dyche.
4 goals in 5 PL games under Moyes.
Was coming here to post that exact stat. It’s criminal that Dyche spent all of this time with Beto and couldn’t realize he needed to be able to run onto the ball.
I’m sure Dyche will get a desperate club battling relegation to sign him at least one more time, but he really needs to be managing at a level more fitting of his tactical ability like League One or Two.
