New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
The kopite scoring the first goal and giving it the six made me laugh.
Happy to let him have his moment there.

Bit of a cold one in there tonight, might have to invest in some thermal undies! Great first look though!

Pretty sure I was always one of either Ajax or Skonto Riga. Jari Litmanen was a goalscoring machine. I actually quite liked those graphics as well. This, World Cup Italia 90 and Streets of Rage was my childhood!AjaxAndy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 8:43 pm Same, even remember the opening music 'You're a goal scoring superstar hero!'.
I fondly remember my epic Borussia Dortmund season where Heicho Herrlich scored 99 goals and had 4 games left to complete 100+ but got injured in the first of those 4 and missed the chance to achieve it.
Still annoys me to this day he didn't get to a tonne![]()

More importantly, for those that attended. How was the experience?

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
It felt good inside, atmosphere was what you would expect for 10k on a cold night in a game we were losing.
The experience walking up and going in was awesome, it feels absolutely massive and the mix between all of the modern design along side the original brick walls really adds character and makes it feel unique.
Going up an escalator felt weird but I was thankful as I had a climb up even further after that
The toilets were miles better, but ran out of paper towels.
The food and drinks were served super fast, but they ran out of milk and hot chocolate. You could tell it was a test, but I wouldn't say they failed on that side of things.

New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Just back now. Wow, just wow it’s real. The fan plaza is going to be stunning, the waterfront views round the south stand and to the west are simply breathtaking. Felt like an away game rather than our stadium as was too nice haha. Concourses are another level to now, must’ve been over 100 till points over across 6 or so concourses in upper south. No queue at all to be served, but very congested in the area based on the bars being in the middle. £9.50 for salt and pepper chicken, and £6.60 for a Steak pie was a bit much too! Will be some injuries as well getting to and from your seats as steep isn’t in it, but plenty of legroom though and bigger seats. Pics don’t do it justice feels so big when in it, yet strangely compact. Makes for a boss atmosphere for first league game

11 comments on the Echo’s article on it and 10 of them are from Kopites

The food is a million times better than the current slop that's served at GP. Mote expensive too, but no massive queues and proper food, so worth the extra few quid.
The stand is amazing. I was in the upper, block 209 and the view was a million miles away from the back of the Lower Gwladys. Then there's the views from the comcourse
