The council are an absolute fucking joke. Imagine the level of outrage if this was the reds.
It wouldn't have happened because they are special

Crazy we have this wonderful stadium, in the middle of an industrial area with just a single lane road and narrow footpath and fuck all car parks for 54k fans.
Oh sorry, as well as a bike lane.
Even as a keen cyclist that is utterly redundant for matchdays.
Was noone at LCC paying any attention these last 5 years?

They spent five years debating if it would get built because of our ownership issues!NomadskiEFC wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 12:20 pm Crazy we have this wonderful stadium, in the middle of an industrial area with just a single lane road and narrow footpath and fuck all car parks for 54k fans.

Still time to get it better for start of season. Are there any good proposals for sorting. Some clubs do park and ride. That can help if your driving from out of Liverpool as well off edge lane. Could do park and canoe as well would be fucking awesome. Or like a Viking longboat singing and swigging ale. moyes will have so,ethimg up his sleeve. IMWT

Mad going back to goodison today after going Bramley on Monday. Really brought home the differences, but also great to be at Goodison. Why can’t we have both!

Controversial comment to follow !
TBH, BMD can’t come soon enough for me, as I stood in an un orderly queue for 15minutes to get a warm Carlsberg in a plastic bottle, then at half time queue 10mins to let it out after shuffling through 9inch leg room to get there, then shuffling down the narrow Gwladys street to wait 30 mins for the Soccer bus to Lime street to arrive with only sufficient space to allow a third of the queue on board I took comfort in knowing that next season we would enter the 21st Century and long overdue it is. Yes, the Southamton game will be emotional and am sure my thoughts will wander back to all those years ago that my dad brought me to that first Game against Birmingham City, we even paid thrupence for a cushion and no, I wasn’t allowed to chuck mine on the pitch at full time !
I’ll get me coat !

Absolutely logical and fair comment but I'll always prefer Goodison (and I know I haven't been to BMD yet and my opinion could change - it won't). The case for BMD practically and financially going forward is indisputable.Escalator wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 9:05 am Controversial comment to follow !

However, it's like expecting Tom to beat Jerry. He should do, he's a cat, the scales are all weighted in his favour, but he won't. You know he won't.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Carlsberg? Are you sure you were at Goodison? I've never seen that shite sold at Goodison. We have next level shite at Goodison, Carling.Escalator wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 9:05 am Controversial comment to follow !

All those things Escalator mentions is the stuff that makes it home.

It's certainly gonna be hard and emotional to leave the place.
Southampton will be tough.
