Wouldn't have made much difference. We did okay points wise with our opponents in December. It was the start of the season and the Southampton game that you look at and think we may have picked up a few more points there, but it wouldn't have been enough to get us 10 more points and put us in the European places mix.

Just be happy he went when he did, and don't expect too much too soon going forward and we can carry on enjoying things.

Does anyone else find it annoying when commentators/pundits say he hasn't done much different to Dyche?

I feel like I'm watching a completely different team, the difference has been stark.

Yep, it's night and day.

We've got attacking intent which we never had, we've got tweaks during games, and we're playing to the strengths of the players on the pitch rather than only having a plan A.

When you see us play, you wonder how the fuck his West Ham team conceded 74 goals, last season.

Exactly, attacking intent and a much more aggressive press when it comes to playing at Goodison specifically rather than letting teams do whatever they want and standing 20 yards off them.

Even just looking at our goal against Brentford. There's no conceivable world under Dyche where the LB is crossing the ball and the RB is there on the back post during open play to head in the goal.

Back to the heady days of Baines putting balls in and Coleman being at the back stick.

It amazes me that Dyche never worked out the goodison wants blood and thunder aggressive football

I just think he never really got the club, and that's why he often wouldn't say ''we'' or ''us''. He saw himself and his team as separate from the club.

Think he thinks he's being professional and doing a job when the reality is he's disconnected himself from the fan base

If you could watch the performances of the team since Moyes took over but could keep the identity of the players hidden, never in a million years would you believe that was the same team/squad that walked off the pitch at Bournemouth.
The turnaround has been incredible, almost unbelievable.
He's taken a team that was shorn of just about everything you need to be competitive in this league as well as being unwatchable to us, never mind any other fans to what we have now in a matter of weeks.
To say he hasn't done much different to Dyche is laughable.
I've posted on another thread that every performance since the villa game must have had Dyche squirming with embarrassment after saying that he couldn't take these players any further forward

I watched that last night. I’m loving this super-relaxed version of Moyes. Every press conference and interview is full of positivity and full of praise for players. Night and day.
