Why am I seeing people talking about taking their seats?

What, so at the final whistle people are going to be there ragging their own seat out?

Have to ask someone to do it for me.

Yeah going to be a lot of kicking in seats at the end.

I think they would have to demolish part and have it as a much smaller capacity. An empty falling apart goodison would be sad.

I'll be surprised if there are many seats or much grass left by about 6pm on the last day.

Absolutely in favour of it too. Family had a terrific day out for the women's derby and I know that crowd was inflated by it being the derby and by being the last one at Goodison but you would definitely see an increase on WHP gates. Whether it was by enough to make it viable, I don't know.

In truth though I don't really care if it makes commercial sense but bulldozing Goodison has always felt like an act of cultural vandalism to me.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

I thought Goodison was going to imminently fail it's safety certificates and so we have no option but to move to a car park in Kirkby?

No way it'll be safe for the women's team going forward

I thought it was categorically part and parcel of the initial proposal for BMD that Goodson gets redeveloped into community housing/projects etc….be difficult to renage on that if they plan to I would of thought……not including the legal “battle costs” ….

Why would anyone want a plastic seat without a base ? If people want to take one then why not buy a ten pound voucher which would allow you to take a seat out of the ground with all proceeds to EITC.

I think they will have some sort of show after so we wont be able to go on the pitch. Some nobs probably will.

I didn’t know this was an option. This is much better. Only a tenner for your Goodison seat and proceeds to EITC?

This needs to be well publicised, because I’m sure most Blues would be up for this and 38k x £10 is a nice wedge for EITC!

It isn’t an option yet but I’m sure that if the Fan Forum were to propose this to the club they would gladly go along with it.
