Back to back starts for Armstrong with a man of the match performance today.

Good to see. We can stop the flapping now.

They were moaning about signing him when it happened, just had a look at the last page of their match thread:

Harrison Armstrong is going to play for England. Already physically up to Championship football at 18. Busy, positive and committed. He looks to have a fabulous attitude. Looked genuinely surprised and moved by his standing ovation.

Armstrong playing well tonight again by the sounds of it, 2-0 up against Coventry at home. Playing as a holding midfielder.

No player has had a bad game tonight, but Armstrong looks like a really, really impressive player for an 18-year-old.

Brilliant, good that he signed a three and a half year contract before his loan

Looked good... If I'm being totally honest I don't think he looks ready for the premier league in those clips though. Certainly comfortable at Championship level though and I'd keep him there (maybe not at Derby though as they won't likely be there) next season to allow him to develop fully.

Obviously neat and tidy, can pick a pass and execute and had more tackling ability than I expected but he's just not quite developed enough to play for us nor should he be sitting on the bench stagnating... Let's give him the best chance to succeed at us by finding him a top half championship side next season.

None in the "elite squad" whatever that is. U21 maybe.

No surprise really considering we’ve been selling off the talent.

What’s going on with that keeper we have who was linked with a mad bid from city?
