He did play some good balls yesterday I remember one great one to lindstrom won the header for the winner and would have cleared their goal if tark didn’t get in his way getting better every game

I still think there are a lot of rough edges to smooth out in his game. He’s a big lad and isn’t as fast on the turn in comparison to Branthwaite say but he has been a big reason for the uplift in form. He needed game time and facing up against the likes of Mitoma and Eze will bring him on even more. The main thing is he looks like it is his level which was the main concern I had with him. Long way to go but he has a good platform to build from now.

Delighted for the big lad. Great week for him. Going to be a Daddy and a first goal at this level. Keep her lit Jake.

Much better second half, add a goal to that and he can be happy with his performance today. Was very poor first half but good that he turned it around after the break.

Arguably our most significant player under Moyes, credit to him after not being able to get in the team until he came in the door.

Very much like early years Lescott isn't he?

CB learning his trade at FB and chipping in with goals.

Thought he did quite poorly for the goal when faced up by Bowen

It’s weird to say given he’s a big unit of a CB but as a right back he’s actually better going forward than defending.

Good pace, touch, consistant passing and a surprisingly good cross

Going the right way to be a very pricey asset

Still to be determined how he is at CB but Moyes has played this well so far.

Wonder if we get in a proper RB if we'll see him and Branthwaite beside each other next season.

He does have positioning lapses as a right back but I don’t know that it necessarily translates to an issue with defending as CB

He will be our 1st or 2nd best CB next season depending on JB staying or not.

I do think he moves inside eventually and makes the CB position his own.
