Tottenham Hotspur: 213 goals in 317 appearances.
Bayern Munich: 57 goals in 56 appearances.
England: 69 goals in 103 appearances.

I don't know how anyone can say he's not an exceptional finisher when he's scored 339 goals in 476 games for club and country when he wasn't even playing in one of the top teams for 317 of those games.

He's also an exceptional passer for a striker and has exceptional vision.

He's not explosive though, and I think that warps perception a bit. I personally think Haaland is really really average apart from his finishing, but that really stands out because it's more impactful when he's barely involved then suddenly bags a brace. People then rate him really highly but in reality Kane is a far better player.

Don't think as a nation we ever really embrace a player who has a long successful career, even Messi would probably have had plenty of detractors if he'd been English.

England just lack a proper CB don't they? Like Chiellini for Italy during the Euros final. Decent options but none you'd have as the spine of the team. Be nice to see Jarrad turn into that.

Name one memorable goal he scored. Or to make it simpler for you, name one memorable anything he did.

Not stats, not aggregate stuff, not "on average", which yes, absolutely show he's a great player.

Name me something that shows he is an exciting player.

The only one that comes to mind was his goal against Arsenal when he was wearing that face mask.

He's scored so many I can't remember specific ones tbh, but again just because he's not meggsing 6 players before chipping the keeper doesn't mean he hasn't scored great goals, he's hit loads from distance, volleys, crisp low strikes... Not sure what else you really want from a striker tbh 🤷

I still don't think you grasped my point so I think I'll just give up.

You know what, you're right, he's right: England fans' lack of appreciation of quality is the reason that they're not wanking themselves silly over his goalscoring stats, and not that he's just a bit dull.

Well yeah he is a bit dull, he's basically the Scottie Scheffler of football for those who are in to golf, but he's still an incredible player.

One of those 23 penalties he’s tucked away for his country

For me i think he is under appreciated and not valued enough, but I also think this way too , probably cos he came after Rooney and Owen before that. I remember him more for taking corners under Woy. We ain't got any wonder kids on the horizon, Hes proven to be a WC striker.
