Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Good and bad like @TheRam did...
Good.
Outside the ground is fantastic. Even without it all being accessible right now. The trees and stuff are a great touch. It looks so good with the mix of old walls and new ground etc.
Easy to get in using the scanner etc.
The actually ground is stunning. It's fucking surreal being at an everton game and seeing the whole of the pitch hahah I sit lower glwadys and it's like looking through a letter box.
I was in lower south. It's steep. You really do feel like you're on top of the pitch!!
Rail seating is great.
The acoustics is unreal. I got goosebumps at z cars. The thought of that next season at full.capacity is beautiful.
Bad.
The walkways are too small. You have to wait for people to come up the stairs cos they take the whole stairs way etc
The concourse at lower south was chaos. So busy. Maybe as parts were shut off so people couldn't spread out as much?
Lack of transport options. Just mayhem tbh outside afterwards.
Need pubs closer by. Need a massive carpark or two. Or more buses or more options.
Overall it was very special.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I think transport will have to be looked at, but people will also get used to it and how it all works soon enough.
I also think the food and drink inside the ground will probably be amended over time in terms of what’s available and the pricing. They will want to get a full seasons data first in terms of what works well in the food and drink and what doesn’t. It will be obvious to them if something is too expensive and people aren’t buying it. Easy enough to replace.

I remember seeing the view from your last photo, and being impressed with the architecture

I think the little Bally looking kid wasn't the 7, but he did a full blooded tackle first half. Agree with the rest being poor in terms of quality though

Also. I walked into town after, what was with the 'go' and 'stop' bit on the road.
Surely it'll be safer to have a consistent slow of traffic, rather than stop people, causing backlogs.

I thought that, so we did a left and jibbed it. Seemed unnecessary in terms of managing crowd flow.Deano Blue Boy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 7:46 pm Also. I walked into town after, what was with the 'go' and 'stop' bit on the road.

Really, really, really hope they can figure out licencing in a way we can stick round after the final whisky wand have a drink.
Would mean the dispersal from the area wouldn't be as dramatic

Excellent, and relevant, typo

Not even going to go back and edit it
