He was unbelievably bad from what I saw (watching on my phone which isn't ideal). Just all at sea and couldn't cope with their attackers.

Then there was the header back to Pickford which was classic Keane.

Think we saw in a really short spell there how Keane will be remembered by Everton fans.

I believe his contract expires at the end of this season.

Mason Holgate's too just in case anyone was concerned about this.

So we really need to buy a decent backup can't be going into next season with just Tarks and Banners and an untried Job.

I didn’t watch the game but keep checking score on my phone every 2 mins. When I saw Keane came on, I stopped looking and knew what would happen. Would definitely have bet on City then if I hadn’t given up.

Fair play to him, took his goal well and put in one of those Michael Keane performances where he looked like he could stroll through the game untroubled, unfortunately over the years we soon came to know that meant there was about be a massive bollock dropped at some point. I've always liked him as a player and as a person he seemed a decent sort and probably stuck up for him even when some mistakes were indefensible but I never really got the vitriol towards him even if a lot of the criticism was justified at times.

Presumably we won't be giving him a new contract so best of luck for wherever he goes next.

Technically he's a really good footballer, as you say can ping a ball 60 yards in to feet, great shot on him, great header of the ball. Unfortunately also prone to horrendous brainfarts that usually cost us.

He reminds me of my golf, can start with four pars, finding my inner Seve then drop a 9 at the next hole. :)

Yeah I would agree, still don't think he's been near the horrendous player people state tbh but it's a shame he has these lapses because he's got a lot of ability
