He’s fine as the starting left back next season.
We can’t sort out everything in one summer.
Right back, centre mids, wingers and strikers are all bigger priorities.
He is he is. I quite often come out of a game and go yeah he did well there phew.
But I honestly cannot wait to see the back of him.

He had a good game at the weekend tbf. Noticed once against Forest that he did the classic Baines pass from LB across the floor into the striker in the final third.
I'm sure Baines/Moyes will bring a lot more out of him and they have already, not convinced he has the quality though. At least he can defend.

To be fair, which player haven't you done the same with, apart from maybe Branthwaite?

I feel like he's completely functional as LB in this team but we need to buy backup in that position, so we may as well buy some 19-20 year old with high potential that can get some game time whilst not being expected to be first choice for a season or two.

Brap & Brap2 likes this
Can’t believe he called himself Brap2 instead of Brap Brap. Must be quick maths…

We've got a centre back at right back because the three right backs we have appear to be old or not good enough. This lads miles away from being a pressing issue

BrapBrap would imply he's a square.
