His best performance since coming back from AFCON, and the little bit of showboating towards the end was absolutely class.

Yeah, he looked more like himself today. Feel like we'll need him to pad his 5 goals/2 assists so far this season if we're to make a challenge on the European places.

That little shuffle on the line then backheel was something else, and his defensive stats were fantastic as always - I can't remember an Everton player like him in my lifetime. If any club has a spare £80m+ this summer, I'm really going to miss him!

Such silky move. Give him some attacking full back Everton for him to feed such balls.

It's all a bit futsal though isn't it. Looks great and he got the assist for the assist for Barry's goal but he's not really producing much. I love the way he gets covered by a couple of players and still comes away with the ball and it's great fun to watch but he's all a bit 'exhibition football' for me. If the Harlem Globetrotters did soccer he'd be first on the team sheet. 🙂

I agree with this to some extent. There were a few moments today where I thought he could have made a better final decision to create a chance after some outstanding work to make space.

I also think we’ve been spoiled rotten by Grealish always releasing the ball at the right time and consistently getting dangerous crosses in. Ndiaye is great but Jack is superhuman.

We’ve been robbed of being able to watch them both in the same team more. For all his merits, Grealish isn’t very direct and doesn’t look to shoot much. I really liked it earlier in the season when Grealish took on the ball retention and chance creation load and Ndiaye was free to crash into the box and look for goalscoring opportunities.

Yeah a lovely watch but not much end product, that may be why he stays at Everton for the foreseeable.

Have we started to turn on one of our best players now?

I don't think it's that, its just that with the quality of his play he needs to add more goals and assist if he wants to get to that next level.

He's an absolute joy to watch and we've been starved of that for a long time, so I don't think anyone wants to see the back of him because he makes watching us a better experience. It would be great if he could add those final elements to his game though - but then if he did he might not be here very long.

Somebody on the opposite wing that is dangerous, a pair of full backs, a player in the middle who has only one thought in his head (switch it) and any striker willing to run towards the goal and Ndiaye's end product goes up.

To be honest, we're not a million miles away from that if Grealish comes back from his injury. Even Beto and Barry would start bagging more regularly

Fair to want more goals and assists I think.

He’s an incredible player and could be the very best we’ve had in the premier league but he does need to improve the numbers.

Feel like they should have showed his little showboating clips on motd. Feels like half the point of watching it is to be entertained.
