Which side wins?:
Pickford
Walker Stones Guehi Trippier
Mainoo Rice
Palmer Foden Gordon
Watkins
Kane
Eze Gallagher Saka
Wharton Bellingham
Shaw Konsa Dunk Alexander-Arnold
Ramsdale
They play out an awfully slow, dreary 0-0 with barely any touches in either box and nobody breaks a sweat
Southgate has never been happier

*incidentally, this
would be my 11 right now, with Kane keeping his place if he stays up top, like he does for Bayern, with Walker having to adapt to the left, and making a back 3 when TAA forays forward/drops into midfield (although TAA still worries me defensively)
Pickford
TAA Stones Guehi Walker
Bellingham Rice
Palmer Foden Gordon
Kane

Can’t drop Saka.
He’s levels above palmer imo.

He looks a bit laboured to me, mate.
A fully match fit and firing Saka, yeah all day long.
Palmer trounced that fb a few times when he came on, though, but Saka struggled in the main, I thought.

TAA is a liability
He came on and played a square ball straight to their striker almost immediately
Then tried a fancy cross field ball that went miles behind Walker

Easy to come on as a sub, especially when the midfield looks functioning with Mainoo. I'd be getting Mainoo in the team and if the left side continues to be a problem area then get Gordon in there.
Saka and Foden are on another level to Palmer.

-----------------Pickford
-----Walker---Stones---Guehi
TAA----------------------------------Saka
--Rice---Mainoo---Bellingham
--------------Foden
-------------------Kane
For me that's the only balanced side we can field, and whilst Saka at LWB is a bit risky it would allow us to actually attack down that side, whilst freeing up Foden to play where he's most dangerous.

Ukraine-Belgium I reckon. Good players on both sides, Myko and Onana playing. Dovbyk v Lukaku in the battle of the strikers.
Should be fun hopefully.

Romania and Slovakia both through with a draw. Get ready for an absolute disgrace of a draw.
