Lads - can you please cut out the fish puns for deadline day. I keep seeing new posts and thinking something has actually happened!

You mustn't take the bait and be lured in by the fact that you see a post has been made. It's not reel.

I agree but the amount you need to spend to bring in a significant improvement in that area of the pitch, we probably dont have.

We need a RB i know this the club knows this, but it looks like without a significant fee there arent any available that improve us.

Juanlu Sanchez is available for twenty million, something we could definitely have afforded

With us loaning to buy Rohl are you certain we have 20 million left?

Maybe not any more but we definitely did before we spent so much on Dibling and as much as I like Dibling it was more important to get a starting RB than it was to get a future prospect RW

7/10 window for me now we’ve got a centre mid in.

Maybe could drop to a 6/10 with the lack of defenders brought in.

The striker market is absolutely stupid this summer.

We did well to get Barry done early. Looking more like a bargain by the day.

I'm sure we were being linked with Woltemade for around £50m, in the end he's gone for like £75m.

Osula to Frankfurt for £30m is insane to me.

I know Frankfurt will sprinkle their magic striker dust on him and sell him for triple in a couple of years but spending less to get a more complete-looking player in Barry feels like a massive win.
