Spurs having such expensive signings like Fernandes on the bench feels weird.

Would be great to see Spurs struggle this year. The meltdown after the massive spend would be hugely enjoyable.

Brentford have been fantastic here.

Will say for all the spending there are few Spurs players I’m jealous they’re signing. It feels like us when we started spending under the previous regime, just a bit of a lack of imagination.

To be fair though, Brentford on this form give most team problems.

This is one side with a very strong identity against another group of lads who are loaded, and look like a selection of C list hair models from the 90s.
