We literally do play 2 up top

Doucure has played a bit further forward in the one game we have played, but he is not a second striker

And Maupay could not play in that Doucoure position.

He plays as a second striker, I'd rather he never but that's where he's playing ATM. Could we change that role, yea and I think we should personally.

I just wonder if we're actually buying any players Dyche wants? Forgetting about Lindstrom/Ndiaye/O'Brien where we'll see how it materialises... Would Dyche have wanted Chermiti? Beto? Danjuma? A 20 year old winger from Ligue 1?

I don't mind it but I wonder if there's a bit of a disconnect there between Thelwell and Dyche.

Isn’t that the best way forward though we are in the shit from letting managers pick players and then the next manager trying to get rid of them

If true and the 8 mio is the stumbling block just grab whatever you can 5 or 6 and run with the money ! Need this fella off the payroll before Saturday night otherwise we are just pissing his wages down the drain for another year.

Just FYI the transfer window closes on Friday night, rather than Saturday, for both England and France.
