We need pace in the wide areas. Adding players like Grealish would be going back to the days of Koeman/Walsh. Not for me.
He'd be our 10 I reckon. Or if he played left wing we'd need a better LB than Myko to cover the ground and overlap with threat. And pace on the right.

One of my favourites prem players to watch of recent years, and if he played for us I think it would be close to the jolt to the system that watching James was in terms of him just obviously being a clear cut above the rest in terms of touch, technique, vision, speed of thought, decision making.
That said I do think he physically might also be a bit done? Could well have an Isco-esque renaissance somewhere and would be nice if that was us, but I don't see it. Think it would be more likely you'd be bumping into him around Mathew Street before long.

Have a feeling Gittens would cost more. Sancho salary is the issue

He just isnt arsed. Thats fine, he doesnt have to be. But would be a terrible signing.

Sancho has had the same issue everywhere he has been. Even Dortmund didnt want him back after his second spell.

Sancho isn't a Moyes type of player. He's very talented but doesn't have the drive.

This is why I feel a bit more comfortable about the window than usual.
Moyes cares about having quality players who can legitimately play football but he won’t chase that quality at the expense of our team ethic and being difficult to play against.
It occasionally causes the team to be quite boring and one-dimensional but it keeps our floor high. I’m hoping he’s 10-20% softer in his advanced age because some of his hardline stances during his first spell were counterproductive.
But at least you know the team isn’t going to be completely soft and easy to play against like under so many of Moshiri’s hires and you also know he doesn’t think 1D defensive hoofball is the pinnacle of what his teams can achieve like Dyche.

Good start to the window with Alcaraz and Gueye confirmed, or nearly as good as.
I make that 14 contracted players now I think.
DCL and Keane still to be decided.
Still a fair amount of work to do but a good start.

I actually quite like the look of that Woltemede that's been linked.

Put that Delap money into an electric RW and a quality CM partner for Gana.
