I can't see anyone coming in and buying him in January, and I wouldn't be surprised if he already had his next club sorted.
I don't think Moyes is the type of not play him because of his contract position. Think if DCL is brought into the side then he'll be fully committed under a new manager. You can tell just how much he hated playing for Dyche, I'm sure he'd like to end his time here on a high note if it is to be the end.

Happily see him gone this window. First touch is terrible these days, managed to slip and still ended up offside, umpteenth woeful miss of his career. One and a bit good seasons behind closed doors and that's been it and headed for his second 18-20 game goal drought in two seasons. There are other reasons too but he needs to take a chunk of responsibility.

Worst finisher in Europe. His next contract won't be as much as we are paying him. Others are quite so daft

Yeah, it's a sad end as he seems a genuine down to earth bloke but his finishing is pathetic.
Hope he does well wherever he ends up.

Needs a goal, if he got one I think we'd see a different player... He's just completely shot of confidence. Had to score that one tonight but just feels like it's never going to happen for him. I desperately want it to though!

There's confidence and then there's being a poor finisher. He is the latter.
Beto will probably start against Spurs. Could see Moyes' reactions to those DCL misses.

I think tbh if you're a new manager and your striker nearly scores three you maybe say...let's leave him in and see if he can do the job, but I wouldn't mind a back up considering the next fella doesn't know how to tie his own laces.

You got to give it up at this point. He's got 2 half season goal draughts in the last season and a half. He's awful. He doesn't just need some confidence. We need shut of him

I think working under Dyche has robbed him of all confidence tbh, I think there's still a player in there if Moyes can dig it out.
3 chances today, when was the last time he had that many in a game? It's usually 1 chance in 3 games if he's lucky.
May well be a busted flush but we aren't getting a goal scoring target man in January so we need to hope Moyes can get him scoring because a lot rides on it. Getting in goal scoring positions is at least a step in the right direction.

Can still see Moyes' face when questioned on Dom. Was pretty clear it was take your chances, or ciao.

Looks like he should have gone to Newcastle while he had the chance.

He'll sit on the bench wherever he ends up next. Squad player at best.

Who wants to bring a player on who can't finish. Think he's playing himself into a position where we might be his best option

If I was Moyes I wouldn't want him.

Not at 100k a week. Worst finisher in Europe's top leagues can't be earning that.
I wouldn't be leaving that offer on the table while he plays himself out of any decent interest elsewhere
