Who keeps the lights on then though ? At least keep paying the wages until a better option turns up, got to be better than insolvency hasn’t it ?
No I think them having any kind of influence is much much worse

I’m with Liz. Would rather go under now than to have those scumbags drag our club through the gutter.

See your point but, let’s hope there is someone waiting in the wings to rescue us from bankruptcy.

The small club comment might come back to bite Masters and the process on the arse... shows a disregard for equitable treatment

Ironic if being called a small club is the thing that saves us. Wonder if we'll call Rafa as a character witness.

I think the 'small club' thing from the committee is more of a headline grabber and a dig at Masters, but the more damning content in the letter is the other details.

Can anyone explain to me why this is at all newsworthy or important? Does it materially matter?

Because they make the recommendation to the government on the football bill that requires an independent regulator bringing in
And they’ve recommended it be brought forward asap
So they think the PL is completely incompetent and needs someone overseeing them sharpish

Least that'll be one part of it done in the near future.
I'm struggling to care at the moment and probably will all season because I don't if it matters if we actually pick up points in matches.

Sounds like doubling down to me.
Prem release a letter saying it was fair and just, and Everton's spending on wages and transfers causes them to lapse PSR, with reference to sporting advantage, and then the appeal is due to be heard the following day.
Not feeling very confident.

Must admit, whatever wrongings we are genuinely guilty of, this independent panel process doesn't seem all that independent to me.

No same, but, the club and every other one agreed to this format.
