I do agree, however put in a transfer request if you want to leave.

Don't publish statements on social media or refuse to play. Put in a request to leave. They aren't doing this because they'll lose themselves and their agents a huge amount of loyalty money.

And on a separate note, who's advising Wissa anyway? He must have seen how Newcastle fans reacted to Isak doing the same thing. And although football fans are fickle and contradictory, he will be starting off Toon life with a lot of people to win over.

None of this business soon when the courts rule in favour of Diarra, players can just quit when they want, contracts will be meaningless

I actually feel a little bit for Wissa as he’s [twenty nine in a few weeks, has one year left on his contract and Newcastle bid forty mil weeks ago which is more than fair IMO

Personally I think Brentford have fucked themselves by not getting Mbuemo and Wissa out the door early and reinvesting.

Now they’ll likely get nothing for Wissa and get relegated anyway

Can't agree with that last bit. They'll 1000% be supporting him from the off as football fans are notoriously hypocritical in these matters, the majority of Newcastle won't give a crap if the result is he ends up there.

Surely that's not going to work out well for them though. Mean no transfer fees so no massive signing on bonuses and no protection from loss of form or injury.

At present if they are poor you are stuck with their contact and if they do well you give then a pay rise. Feels like being on what amounts to week to week contracts won't be good for the vast majority of then

Pure copium from me but if the shite don't up their bid then I would be surprised if Newcastle keep Isak and force him to choose between sitting on his arse for months or selling him to Saudi (as their window is still open after PL)

Sadly, he will likely improve them as goalkeeper has been a huge issue for them.

It's annoying as apparently unphased by PSR they keep spending money. After a while, even if by luck like someone closing their eyes and throwing darts at a board they'll find their way back to European places despite the incompetence.

Yeah of course, he will definitely make them stronger. Great keeper. Just a massive wanker.

Agree about PSR, they will spend until they get it right. Annoying.

Match made in heaven those two. Unbearable wankers that throw a tantrum when things don’t they way they want.

He’ll be on strike to make his next step up to Real in a season or two
