The precedent now seems to be if a game doesn't finish and clubs are blameless i.e. serious or life threatening injury, weather etc etc the game is replayed from the start.

If a side ran out of players a la Sheff Utd v West Brom Battle of Bramall Lane then that may well still be viewed differently.
I could swear on the past games have been restarted from a certain time when a team has been winning.

Mind it's been so long I could easily be wrong, or the rules have changed since then.

In this day and age with the money to be made I can't imagine they'd ever start a match at the 65 minute mark, and it would be hard to get a crowd up for it for such a short game time so the atmosphere would be crap (would many people even attend?).

Product comes first and a full 90 trumps a 25 minute match every day of the week... Would be infuriating if you were 3-0 up though, game got abandoned and you lost the replayed fixture.

First leg is an anfield.

We’ve lost out on what could have been one of the all time great nights at Goodison.

Massive shame for me.

Why does someone investing to take 25% of a club need PL approval?

They aren’t purchasing the club

They won’t be the owners

Also how can they invest “millions” into the training ground without screwing FFP? They aren’t owners so they can’t say it’s part of whatever equity input offsets the £15m max allowed

Received wisdom is that spending on infrastructure and youth facilities does not count towards ffp/p&s calcs.
Unless you're Everton.
