Not gonna happen.

Unless we genuinely have another striker lined up (not vardy) a decent one then I can't see it.

Grealish deal takes me up to 5, continued Old Man Vardy talk up to a 6.

History may not repeat itself, but it sure as fuck rhymes...

Getting a bit more concerned now. Could really use some new (good) players in the door soon.

I think weirdly seeing Grealish play highlighted that he can't really do things by himself and for that loan to work we need a lot of better talent around him. Also be nice if we had a reliable free kick taker. Also someone with a bit of pace. Also...

Should have been flapping back in July when we'd sign a 21 year old striker with 1 year of experience and a backup keeper.

We will regret not giving Doucoure that contract. Absolutely covered up a multitude of sins with his running. Basically gave us 3 CMs and a second striker - no one else is going to do that and Moyes is going to need to solve the CM problem and get us more functional in attack.

Flaps locked into take off position.

Fucking hate this club at the moment, sick of us not doing things in the right way.

Yup, I said this about Doucouré all the time.

He covered up how poor our coaches have all been.

Feeling ok about everything. Disappointed with last night, obviously, but overall we're aiming for mid-table stability (hopefully upper mid-table) and I absolutely think we'll get there.

It's one game, away from home with a weakened defence and we're flapping??? Hope we never have something really serious to worry about

We were absolutely awful first half but solid second and should have had a point really... Tough opening fixture and missing key players, plus still some more to come through the door.

My flaps are minimal until the window shuts. If we haven't recruited correctly then I'll raise them, but still think we'll get the bodies in and look a whole lot better once we do.

I'm frustrated though as we've started a season poorly prepared again and it's going to cost us points and mean another slow start to things which we then have to battle back from.

At a solid 8.

The squad is terrible and we’re less than two weeks until the window shuts.

Will we sign the two midfielders, two full backs and two right wingers we need? Of course not.

Will we even get half of that? I doubt it.

Flap and rage levels elevated

But it’s one game, away, and we were fucking robbed

Think we will get a full back and a RW in, and another midfielder and we will be fine

Moyes unlikely to set us up in that dyche manner again I don’t think, made the mistake, will learn from it. Last season he went and had a go everywhere we played, a much better strategy than trying to hold onto a nil nil, he will go back to something approaching that

That match hasn't changed anything for me.

But I did say I could see us getting to West Ham at the end o September without a win. So a defeat last night was just expected for me.

What is more of a concern for me though, is the seeming lack of concrete rumours. Feels that means we're at least 3-5 days away from getting someone in. (And we only ever seem to bring one a time in)
