Not sure anyone thinks he's prime Iniesta. He was great in the championship (at least, as far as the stats show), I don't think he'll be poor in the Premier League every week even if he's nothing special. Even his last Premier League season was decent stats wise. Hopefully he'll change your opinion when he gets on the pitch for us, KDH-Gana-Garner would be an okay midfield imo.
Oh it's because I think he's a waste of money.

Finding it hard to have any sort of opinion on this.

It’s just typical Everton.

Of course we’re signing Dewsbury-Hall for £25m.

I don’t think it’s a waste of money, nor do I think he’ll be a fans favourite. Although our fans do have a habit of going completely over the top with players like this (see James Garner)

He’ll be decent. Give us a good three or four years being a good, neat and tidy midfielder who’ll be an important cog of the rebuild without doing anything great.

Probably needed a player exactly like this.

We need investment signings like Barry, Dibling, Aznou, Branthwaite etc, but we also most definitely need the here and now improvement players too. KDH is absolutely this, in the position we need it most.

Also hopefully allows us to send out Armstrong. 24 mil really isn't that much for a guaranteed step up.

Players less than 20 mil are a gamble in some way, PSR Tim, Garner, or cost less because they're older, haven't played in a top league etc. This one is par for what it's giving us.

Chelsea fans seem to rate him quite high but do think he has no chance to start with their current midfield options and some of them believe that we would be a stepping stone for him to get into a CL level team.

He's about 2-3 years older than what we would have ideally liked but he's a player who wouldn't take time to blend in with the physicality of the league and we do need some starters in the team than just potential future stars.

Feels like he'd be a solid signing for us and definitely one we need given the starting 11 that we have currently.

See I think without much evidence to back it up that he'll become a fan favourite and give us a consistent level of performance week in week out.

I don't know if you are comparing him to Garner in terms of just over hyping someone or in terms of ability @TheRam but imagine probably more the former than the latter? But I think he'll be a bit of a Gana / Gareth Barry type of just being super reliable and doing lots of good stuff and little bad.

I guess time will tell, and he's definitely not a flashy exotic signing. It feels like the kind of player we could have just gone and got weeks ago, but also I think he'll be a really good player for us regardless.

Its a signing that helps a lot in my opinion. Allows us to be sensible with both Gana and his long term replacement. Also allows us room if we decide not to renew Garner at the end of his deal.

I’m quite happy with this lad he is a good footballer will improve the midfield and help us progress the ball quicker is there a case for garner to be tried right back or is he not good enough there

Heard the first add on were something about playing at least 3421 PL mins the first season.
Not impossible with this squad.

Was listening to The Blue Room podcast this morning, one of them (can’t remember which), seemed to think the add ons will be difficult to meet, so will probably only be the £25m

I heard £3m was dependent on the Brapster getting a KDH tattoo anywhere on his body.
