Bit of a non-event. Hard to draw too many conclusions from any of that.

Poor performance that, doesn't change much in the group as we weren't expected to win but the performance is the concern and we're now in a deep run of poor results.

I thought Scotland dropped the 50 year old goalkeeper, not start him in the tournament

Three games a day for the next few days - love the group stages of tournaments.

Also had a nice evening watching the game with Mum. However, like me she does not understand why Matterface is a commentator - she thinks he talks too much and most of it is rubbish.

If Rudiger had done that at the other end of the pitch, it would surely be goal of the tournament contender.

Absolutely sublime finish.

Mad performance from Robertson. Have we ever seen a player directly at fault for all 5 goals, causing a teammate to be sent off in the opening game of an international tournament and convince a broadcasting network to employ an American as a rules analyst? Wow. What a monumental tosser.

I'm not a fan of Robertson but he wasn't the worst. Ralston was terrible, he's only played about 6 games for Celtic all season but with Hickey (and to a lesser extent Patterson) out then it was always going to be a third or fourth choice starting. Porteous has that kind of thing in him, McGinn, McTominay and McGregor watched the game from the best seats in the house and the game passed them by, Think I'd have kept Adams on and taken Christie off, there was no point putting Christie up front and he spent more time drifting back in to midfield.

Just a terrible performance all round, we've dined out on the back of our start to the qualifying campaign and beating Spain etc but the form of the last 10 games is probably more a reflection where we are. We've got injuries but most teams can say that, it was the manner of the defeat that was more concerning.

I was concerned before the game about our recent form and some of the key injuries in the team but still wasn’t expecting such a terrible performance from Scotland.

Steve Clarke has a huge job to try and lift the players. At least the Germany game was the toughest fixture out the way but Switzerland will still be very tough and I wouldn’t underestimate Hungary
