Little bit disingenuous that.
It's a bit more than ''a tiny bit of a positive run''.
We've completely alleviated all anxiety about relegation in a matter of a few weeks, and it's allowed the fanbase to enjoy Goodison in it's final season and dream of Bramley Moore after years of psychological torture, wondering if we'd be relegated or even cease to exist. It's a huge shift. People are right to be enthused and overjoyed.
Biggest indicator of the psychological shift is that there was no meltdown after the Bournemouth cup loss. People recognised that we still tried to win the game, and that Bournemouth are a good side playing well.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're not a massive Moyes fan are you? Seem to recall some other comments along that line.
Yeah man, I was less than impressed that we went for him. Although I bore him no ill will for leaving us for united or trying to get a good deal for Baines and Fellaini.
Whilst I appreciate you adding a bit of nuance to things, last year Dyche had a 12 game period where we won 8 and drew 1. We've been saying all along that any half-way decent manager should have this team in 12th with room to spare.
Moyes is definitely better than "half-way decent".

The Salah hint is priceless, if that's what he meant.

What a sheer delight to watch the pressers again, upbeat, clarity of thought and speech, sharing the love.

I loved his attitude in the press conference after the match... When asked if he'd spoken to the ref about the penalty he just laughed and said no and that he'd wasted enough energy over the years on stuff like that, and that he's older and wiser now to know it doesn't change anything.
Just a calm head who seems to be loving being back as a more experienced and mellowed manager.

Hoping Young isn't default first sub for rest of the season

Agreed. Even the little dig about them watching the wrong footage, did it in a way to show he was displeased without becoming a spectacle to the press
