Looked very similar to the penalty that was given against us there. Not given for Fulham. No consistency with these refs or VAR

Silvia’s teams are so soft, grim.

Don't understand the love in Marco Silva gets on here.

Proper cack manager.

Don't see him as a cack manager at all. Actually think he's covering a lot of the cracks in that Fulham side. Who do they have that you'd want here? They sold Pereira who was a key player and Silva's brought into the team that Josh King kid to replace him through necessity. Think the only player they bought in the summer was Kevin the Brazilian lad who is probably nowhere near PL ready.

No Robinson or Tete today as well.

It's not like they've spent much money since he's been there either. They lost the likes of Mitrovic and Palhinha without really replacing either with players of that standard. He's done an incredible job at Fulham for me.

Got a Ceiling though, this is as good as it's gonna get for him.

Don't rate him myself really at all.

Teams are far too soft and easy to play through.

Managed long enough in the PL as well to have proved himself and not done an awful lot.

Looked a pen all day that, but keeper gets the ball on replay. No pen.

Yeah it’s not a pen.

Gary Neville trying so hard to make a controversy of a pretty standard decision.

Terrible commentary here. It's just obviously not a pen because he touches it.

Good use of VAR.

Ref gives what looks like a pen, VAR shows the keeper got a good touch to take it away from the striker.

No pen. No need to even discuss it from here.

Ok, I'm probably being dumb here, but why is that not a penalty?

Striker got to the ball first, it looked like his touch played it to the left, the keeper's touch on the ball was very negligible but the keeper still makes massive contact with the striker and Pope came out kinda recklessly...you can touch the ball and it still be deemed a foul because of the type of contact you then make with a player.

Because he won the ball? Don't see how that can possibly be a pen. Only time a player ever commits a foul after winning the ball is if it's violent conduct and he's gone over the top which Pope hasn't done.
