Quality there Tyler!
Super talented this lad and is obviously improving the more game time he has
Also made up that you whiny little bitches who had written him off got had off by him there!
Let’s keep this lad in the team please
Who wrote him off? I don't think any criticism has been particularly over the top, he's not exactly set the place on fire since he arrived and was only playing last night because we were on the bare bones, up until now even Moyes doesn't appear to have had a huge amount of faith in him.
I never saw the Burnley game but he did fine last night, nothing stand out though and not enough to have had anyone off. I think everyone hopes he does well though, it suits us both on the pitch and financially if he does but one 7/10 performance doesn't suddenly change that with a big fee comes big expectations even at 19 years old.
More of last night and I'm sure he'll develop into a great player, the proof in the pudding will be if Moyes continues to play him when everyone is back and fit.

Plenty on other sites and social media writing him off calling himself and Barry a waste of money and worse some fans have no patience with young players dibling is quality we can all see it just need to keep playing him

I read a lot of people reserving judgement on him, which is completely understandable given his lack of minutes, but no-one writing him off.

If you think nothing stood out last night, we didn’t watch the same game.
Only Grealish in our current squad has a similar ability for ball retention under pressure. And we’ve not had that in the squad before Grealish joined for a long, long time. Maybe James was the last one I can think of and before him, Pienaar?
He has something different and it stands out to me a mile. “Nothing stand out”? Watch it again mate.

Come on, mentioning him in the same breath as James, Pienaar Grealish? Lets not get too carried away. I said 7/10 which I think is a fair assessment of his game last night, I don't know why people are suddenly going all defensive about him like he put in a MOM performance. He was fine, and hopefully he continues to improve but lets not go overboard about it.

Too late! I’m all in, overboard and I don’t have a life jacket.
He’s 19! By the time he’s 22/23 we’ll have a job holding onto him unless, which is the dream, we are also flying high in the table and visiting Europe regularly.

I don't think anything he's done warranted high praise prior to last night, some people do some people don't, that's fair enough. He's been bought for the future and hopefully we do get a big fee for him, if he's still here in 3 or 4 years with 70-80 appearances to his name then something has gone badly wrong. But it's fine for people to reserve judgement given what little we've seen hasn't been particularly outstanding but unfortunately because of what we paid for him expectations will be high with some people. And I still maintain that although Moyes hasn't a great record of playing teenagers, he's still not seen enough to give him more game time even as a late sub and has only played him when forced to last night and that's a slight concern.

I respectfully disagree, sir.
Ball retention has been excellent, progression up the pitch has been there and final pass/delivery has been there in every appearance.
What we are seeing now with more minutes is that he is doing more of the same, having more of these moments and affecting the game more.
We saw it in microcosm in sub appearances, and we’re watching it grow in full appearances. We are successfully phasing him in and he’s growing in confidence and influence.
Looking forward to seeing what he’s like by the time Ndiaye is back. Then sir, we will have options for Ndiaye and Grealish and will hopefully never see McNeil again!

Would like to see a bit more of him running with the ball. Think he's a strong runner which is something different compared to most of our squad.
Lots of time to improve but I hope he keeps getting minutes even once we have the full squad back. He needs them to improve.

Definitely looking better as he's getting more minutes. Would love to find a way that naturally can fit him, jack and ili in the side together, and if barry up top starts producing that group should terrify defenders.

Like I’ve been saying I like dibbling and it’s there to be seen…based on first half last night…I was ready to hook him tbh….gave the ball away too much…..it could of been any one of 3 him McNeil or roll…..however his second half was a vast improvement…..but overall thought his game against Burnley was the best if the 2……keep it up lad and keep learning and your name will become amongst the first few on the sheet….

He’s class.
I look forward to seeing playing centrally at some stage.

Glad someone mentioned the strength.
He’s kinda built like Dowell and looks like someone who’ll get easily pushed around at this level but it’s absolutely not the case.
There was one moment where he was as shielding the ball in our third and the player on his back got a touch of the ball and he didn’t even react because he knew he was still in control.
I also loved the moment where he spun around twice to avoid pressure and keep the ball. He knows where defenders are, he knows where teammates are, and he knows the ball is his whenever it’s at his feet.
Baller.
