Tarks is training with the squad in New York so must be almost there ? Wasn’t left behind like Branthwaite.

Keane up and down describes him perfectly unfortunately way more downs there is a player in Patterson probably won’t make it here but would have him 100 times ahead of Keane777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 2:37 pm I'd rather see Keane than Patterson. Keane is up and down but I can't remember the last time Patterson looked anything but a liability
I think people assuming there's a player in Patterson is based off a few highlights many seasons ago. He's been pretty awful both ends of the pitch when given a chanceKerryblueboy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 4:13 pm Keane up and down describes him perfectly unfortunately way more downs there is a player in Patterson probably won’t make it here but would have him 100 times ahead of Keane
But not as awful as Keane777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 4:20 pm I think people assuming there's a player in Patterson is based off a few highlights many seasons ago. He's been pretty awful both ends of the pitch when given a chance
I don't think that's remotely true. Keanes last 2 appearances are probably better than anything Patterson has done in years here.
A baller? Seriously? Injuries haven’t helped him but he’s shown nothing to say he’s good enough for this level. He got games at the end of last season to see if he can cut it and we immediately tried to sign Tete. Lots of fans tried to make a big deal of whatever happened between him and Dyche but even Moyes, a fellow Scot, doesn’t rate him evidently. He’s just not good enough for this level and we need to accept that and move one. I really think we’d ship him out if we could get a starter and good cover and we are actively trying to buy someoneToddacelli wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:02 pm Patterson has an upside if we can develop him. He’s deffo a baller. The question is - can we afford to give him the time?
I think the Dyche/Patterson 'incident' was more revealing about Dyche than Patterson.Bornblue88 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 10:04 pm A baller? Seriously? Patterson hasn't been able to get regular football under any club manager. Not in Scotland. Not here under 3 different managers despite our opitions at fullback being amongst the poorest in the leagueBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 7:36 am I think the Dyche/Patterson 'incident' was more revealing about Dyche than Patterson.
I’m getting the feeling you don’t like Patterson777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:27 am Patterson hasn't been able to get regular football under any club manager. Not in Scotland. Not here under 3 different managers despite our opitions at fullback being amongst the poorest in the league
All evidence suggests hes nowhere near good enough to play for us. I don't really get how anyone can claim he's definitely a baller. He's consistently so poor Ashley young was deemed a better option
Doesn’t mean he deserves to get a slap from the manager ffs.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 8:27 am Patterson hasn't been able to get regular football under any club manager. Not in Scotland. He's probably a lovely lad. He's been poor when he's played though and he's not played because numerous players with big question marks against their ability have been picked in front of him
