We’re still in the mix until we aren’t, but what are the thoughts on the league as a whole in terms of who might go down?
Luton you have to say are not dead and buried. Their home form could give them a chance to stay up. They play Sheffield Utd, Chelsea at home then Burnley next, so a decent chance to get a lot of points there.
Forest in the mix, but seems like they were pretty unlucky today. Nuno may make them more solid.
Burnley probably likely, but a good result today.
Sheffield Utd looking more robust under Wilder. Still likely to go down.
Are Crystal Palace, Wolves or Brentford in the mix at all?

Forest are in massive trouble. They won at Chelsea in August but their away form has basically been as bad as it was last season. They've already played Sheffield United, Burnley, Luton, Everton and Bournemouth (and Brentford) at home and only beat one of them.
I know they were good at home to the top teams last season generally but you can't depend on that again to stay up. If Luton keep this up all season then I think they're capable of pipping them.
Burnley winning the odd match here and there is sometimes worse in the long-run because I just don't think they have the quality/physicality at all whilst the philosophy is flawed, but they'll think they're getting there when I don't think it's true.
Sheffield United will go down.
Don't think there's anyone else in the mix realistically, and I include us in saying that.

Wolves to teeter on the brink if we can whip them after the City game
Bournemouth have surprised me, credit to them

Is Poch doing a fair bit worse than Potter now? Think it shows that Potter was not the issue at Chelsea, the owner and the crazy recruitment was really the issue. Having 45 16 year olds in a dressing room is not how you build a squad. It's not a computer game. Things like group dynamics and experience and culture actually matter in real life.

They'll both be glad of the Lampard cameo of 11 games W1 D2 L8 inbetween which has made both of them look terrific managers.

It’s a good job they didn’t pay ridiculous fees for some of these naff players and sign them on 8 year deals meaning they’ll struggle to shift them…

So if the Glazers sell the other 75% to the Qataris then Ratcliffe has given away a billion for nothing??

Huge game between 1st and 2nd.
Should be a feast of football.

Sorry to hear that, Liz. Hope the footie provides a nice distraction.
Reckon this Newcastle-Forest game has the potential to be quite tasty. Forest have gone quite attacking in their lineup, and Newcastle have some players back.
