Disappointing results back to back wins for Luton

I get what people are saying about Luton and us not being safe at all, and of course we're not, but taking us out of the equation for a second, good on them. Doing an amazing job of fighting to stay in the division, against all predictions.

I've been impressed with Luton and Edwards, don't begrudge them getting results at all. Most people would have had them destined for relegation at this point but they haven't even been battered on too many occasions this season and seem to be within a goal of the opposition even if they lose a match. I'm in the mindset that we'll finish ahead of both Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest (and Burnley & Sheffield United), so not going to pretend that I'm devastated to see Luton holding their own so far this season and I'd quite like to see them stay up.

Nah but he was already on a yellow card.

Much ado about nothing really.

Chris Wood not celebrating against Newcastle. He must have been there all of five minutes.

Burnley are the sort of side that Liverpool absolutely love. Roll over and get beat 6-0 and have the kopites give it the "Burnley are so brave and impressive with the ball. They could have won that on another day. They'll be absolutely fine this season" treatment.

Comms saying before kick off how Klopp loves Kompany and is impressed that he sticks to his own tactics blah blah

Burnley are absolutely kack, aren’t they?

There’s a formula to staying in this league. Even the likes of Brighton established themselves before they evolved into a ball-playing team. They look small as a team, too.

They say Kompany exudes a zen calm, but I read it as cluelessness.

They did spend £100m in the summer as well, so he had the option to evolve their style into a more mature one suited to being a small club in the Prem, but he chose to play Footie Manager with it instead.

0-3 down at home to Stoke with half an hour to go, wouldn't be surprised if Rooney is out sooner rather than later at Birmingham. Not sure why they treated is as though they were bringing in the next Alex Ferguson. His win-rate at Derby and DC United is shocking regardless of the difficulty of the jobs.

Asking Roberto Martinez about defensive partnerships is a bold decision

What was the issue there, was Watkins even offside if he did touch it?

Ten Hag would do well to survive another 3-0+ defeat at Old Trafford this season.

Wondering how we lost to Man United at this point. I guess the occasion, plus the early goal got to us.
