Must be the most successfully tackled player in the league

Hard to really judge anything on his cameo though, some good, some bad, about what you'd expect an out of form and low confidence youngster.
Out of form and low confidence are things we can accept, the bit I’m struggling with is attitude. The way he strolls around the pitch is what is worrying me the most.

He’s a 19 year old who plays sporadically and they were doubling him up every time he got the ball.

Give him time, the only thing that’s going to get in between him and being very good is not playing.

Thought he was terrible. He consistently lost the ball, made wrong decisions and didnt defend properly. Hes also pretty slow.

Give him more game time. He’s a talented lad and he will get better. While Grealish is out I’d be starting him on the right over McNeil with Ndiaye on the left, KDH central

Sounds like you're describing McNeil!

Just play Dibling instead. One will get better, the other has probably peaked

They were both terrible.

Barry was terrible at the beginning of the season. How's he doing now?

I posted this in matchday thread as well, but belongs in here really:

any time we were slow in switching to him and he had his back to goal he just played the way he was facing - giving it straight back to the player who passed to him.

When we switched quicker and he was able to take on the half-turn with space in front of him - he was able to run at players and take them on.

Bit of a mixed bag from him and he seemed very slow at times, but when we played quicker football as a team, he played quicker and more direct and it was here he showed real quality.

Wish he’d have had a pop and scored though - would have been amazing for his confidence.

Dibling had a lot of ball on the right and opportunity to take on his opposition one on one. It doesn’t feel like it has quite clicked for him yet in terms of his ability and what to actually do with the ball. He either lost possession or passed it back.

All he needs to do sometimes is get a yard of space and put a ball in the box and make the game simpler. It’s not all about beating 5 players or getting to the by line. He needs to figure that out and hopefully good coaching will massively help.

Would love to see him do something with purpose, right now it feels like he's so scared he chooses the safest option or doesn't commit when he does choose the right one.

He is phenomenal at losing the ball so far. Big Jack Harrison vibes unfortunately. Still holding onto faith he can beat a man though.

He did break into a sprint at one point so that's a positive.
