Just think it’s a big hopeful we sign him, then have to muddle with McNeil RW which is a painful watch,
Rather go all in for a realistic RW target and if we get Fofana we get him.
Yeah fair point, although we've now bid for a more realistic option and people aren't happy about us potentially signing him... I guess that shows how hard improving this team in a substantial way is after so many years of languishing in the lower reaches of the league.

We can’t play McNeil RW. It’s been a disaster in pre-season as he is the most one footed player I have ever seen play football. All he does with that right foot is balance on it.
We have to bring one or two in - there is no other option. Otherwise that right flank will be targeted all season long, especially with no talent at right back either.

Exactly. Reminds of the FA Cup final against Chelsea and our right hand side was the dynamic pairing of Hibbert and Osman. Love both players but we had no attack down that side.

Kevin Sheedy was one-footed, but he also had the unique advantage of also being Kevin Sheedy!

He was also a bit lazy, but everyone complimented each other, perfect harmony.

He also had Psycho behind hi, so didn't really need to track back and defend so much. Anything that got past Sheedy was going 6 feet up in the air.

I fucking loved Psycho Pat. Modelled myself on him as a no nonsense CB.
