Feels like there's still a hell of a long way to go. Those first couple of years must have been worse than I can remember.

Is that because it can’t be an error if they now don’t bother to get involved at all?

semi automated offsides now probably not coming until next season , still trying to iron out faults and get it working properly. Wtf it already works in Europe and the world cup. Useless

Apparently it's to do with the ball we use in the premier league as it is a different manufacturer in other leagues and the euros. Technology is there but the league is tied in with a company that isn't up to speed.

Stick to these lot trying to literally draw lines then, that's 100% foolproof.

They're trying really hard though, some are even practicing doing straight lines at home FFS... Now that's dedication!

Not for reasons of incompetence like has actually happened but I honestly think this sort of thing should be brought in during a close season. It effectively means the games being played under different conditions and it doesn't feel right playing half a season one way and half a season the other way.
The whole thing is an absolute sack of shite either way though.

This was communication between the officials not VAR so sorry for the slight off topic but still Taylor basically just ignoring everyone and justifies by saying he's holding something else? Bizarre.

Useless watching that vid , fuck players hold other parts of their bodies trying to influence refs all the time , sometimes it's that ball that hits them ,

And if they had actually watched the replay, maybe even the yellow would've been felt harsh.

The clips shown there are all the wrong angle to see it's accidental.
The fact they've upheld the ban after the event is even worse.
