Didn't realise Forest had only 10 points so far. That's with an early season win at Chelsea as well.
Think they'll be alright but they have played Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton at home already and taken 5 points only.
See how they fare against an on-form Villa here.

Funny how liverpool and Everton seem to be the only teams in the world who don’t sing a Beatles/McCartney song before or after the game.

I think even armchair fans are getting sick of VAR now. Just scrap it.
I just don't like the incompetence and the inconsistency. I suppose fast incompetence is better than slow incompetence as for instance even without VAR they gave that Newcastle goal yesterday, and there have been plenty of other occasions like that such as the Diaz offside vs Spurs where the refs got it wrong first too so take away VAR and we still have a lot of the same issues...we'd just be changing the type of discussion from VAR to the standard of the referees in game.
I would more go the route of removing as many game impacting decisions from the referees as possible. So use the automated offside system they set up during the World Cup and I think they use in some European competitions. I would also say make more lower level fouls in the box free kicks rather than penalties. If there is a foul that actually impedes a goal scoring chance then penalty, if the ball bounces up off the ground and hits a slightly outstretched arm give a free kick, The reward for random occurrences in the box seems too skewed right now.

They have some good players but I don't think Cooper is nearly as good as some have made out.
Got very lucky for a long stretch with their home form last year, did improve a lot in the final 1/3 of the season but if they'd got the results they deserved in the first 2/3 they'd have been in a lot more trouble.
Think they'll survive because Burnley, Luton, Shef Utd, and Bournemouth are all worse than them.
Also think they'll face some FFP issues because of their wages at some point.

Difficult to say how good or bad they are I think. Would say that they've lost 2 of their best 3 players from last season in Johnson and Navas whilst they've already dropped Matt Turner in goal. Think the other teams may be too poor, so they should stay up but would not be surprised if they have a shaky season. Their owner is nuts as well, so a change in manager could be on the cards for better or worse.
They've put in a decent half an hour here tbf.

Hmm, just started watching the Forest v Villa game, wasn't that a handball at the end of the half there?

Only showed it once on Sky. If it hit Murrilo's hand then it should have been. I think Toffolo's hands were both within the silhouette even though it hit them.

It's weird (puts on tin foil hat) sometimes it feels like they don't want to show all the angles. Like you only get the one replay from one angle and it's like case dismissed, then we see other incidents from 20 angles and a go pro strapped to the ref's head. It probably was fine in this case, but it is hard to tell from behind the player as was shown.
From the highlights, Forest look to have been unlucky not to be further ahead though, seems like they've played well.

Yeah, I agree with you. It's frustrating.
Forest have sat in a low block and tried to break quickly. They've got in behind a few times but been offside on several occasions. Villa can't get their forwards into the game, everything it going to Digne really.

Hmm might be offside. Poor from the keeper though.
Actually no, they've given it.

That’s the worst piece of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen.

Wow Barkley and Townsend playing today for Luton, I didn't even know Townsend was back playing.
Actually kinda happy to see Townsend playing again, always had a good attitude for us.
