Linked with Christian Norgaard from Brentford on a free
What kind of CM is he supposed to be?

Interested in Abraham again apparently
We already have average strikers don’t need another one. Though I always get frustrated at being linked with him and we’ve not signed him yet so hopefully won’t this time either.

Not sure but the Brentford forum says they have an option to extend for another year so doubt it'd be a goer anyway.
Also he's 31 next week so wouldn't be a good investment even on a free really, need to be aiming for younger players unless we don't give Gana a renewal and then we could do with a more experienced head in there.

Let’s see if we can get something out of hojlund at United.

Well with his scoring record he'd be a like for like replacement for Calvert-Lewin.

Quoted at £40m so can't see that being a goer, especially as the article on Football Insider seems to think he'd be a Michael Keane replacement.
We need to be buying with a view to selling for £40m+ not buying that price and hoping we can turn a profit, plus we have O'Brien so don't really need this guy.
Seems like a rumour that's not got a lot behind it tbh

Whoever Brugge are linked with as a possible replacement for him is who we need to be targeting.

I don’t see it at all. What does he even do?
He’s a bit like Lindstrom for me. A project for someone else, not us.

Is he not just in a rotten environment?
Look at Anthony for example and how well he’s doing at betis. Rashford also looking a lot better at Villa.
Would 100% take the gamble but there’s every chance he could be shite as well.
I actually like zirkzee as well for a moyes type striker if you can get enough goals from midfield.

I’d be gutted if we got Zirkzee. Don’t think he suits the league at all and the crowd would fucking hate him if we and/or him were in bad form. He’d be on a ridiculous wedge over at Utd too. Happy to not go anywhere near any of them to be honest.

I’d just expect to see some residue of something positive from him. He’s not getting shots off, he’s not setting up chances, he’s not winning aerial duels, he’s not defending from the front. Maybe he runs with the ball a bit, that’s the only slight positive marker.
I know he was only a teenager but his underlying numbers from Atalanta aren’t even especially impressive and every attacker there seems to go crazy.
I’m all about the buy low opportunities but given the obscene fee United paid for him, I don’t think he’d be worth the discounted rate. This is a rehab job for a best of the rest La Liga or Serie A club for sure.

To be fair to him, I've seen a few of their games live this year and the service to him is often absolutely terrible.
