Jon Duran off to Zenith only 22...
What a bonkers career he is having. Is he trying to speed run playing in every league on the planet?
He looked so promising coming through at Villa, don’t know how is stats are now but presume this is more about behind the scenes stuff.

See James Rodriguez has finally found his way to the MLS, signed a six month deal with Minnesota Utd for club number 13. I don't know, maybe on this one Benitez had a point.

Be an amazing place to play. I absolutely loved Copenhagen when I went. On half decent footballer's money, life would be a dream there.

Arsenal make Saka best-paid player with new deal
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/arti ... gje501g51o
Not really a transfer, but sorta related.
I'm sure it makes sense to Arsenal given they're probably rolling in money right now.
Perhaps his form is being hurt by the way Arsenal set up now in such a defensive manner, or maybe how teams approach playing Arsenal now, but for me he looked a much more exciting player a couple of seasons ago. Whenever I've seen them this season it's felt like I've not really noticed him standing out particularly, much of what he was doing felt more by the numbers and safe.

Arteta is just a Pep wannabe, drains any attacking flair out of the creative players for formulaic robots

If he's got any slower from his time with us then I'm not sure he'll be able to handle the pace!

Really hope not. Hes never fit. Hes past his best. Hes on massive money.
Also to what end. We are actually very strong at centre half anyway

It would be beyond stupid to get involved with stones again.
For one he's the dcl of defenders, and two we don't need him

I posted in the Today's Football thread recently, he's missed over 150 games through injury, I think it was 4 injuries and 34 games last season. We've already got one injury prone CB we don't need another, betweem him and Branthwaite we'd maybe get 30 games out of them for about £200k a week.
