The main positive is that all of the parties seem like serious, legitimate business people. That’s enough for me at this stage after the nightmare of Moshiri and 777

Yeah they literally all seem miles better than 777, I'd take every single one of them over the charlatans that Moshiri was desperate to sell us to.

Everton's worth when they all come on board.

Shame for us really
Means Moshiri will get more money out of it
And we get saddled with more debt

I'm sceptical that a very wealthy 45 year old Lebanese businessman is an Everton fan. I suppose it's possible, but highly sceptical.
Apart from the very legitimate 'we've seen this before' scepticism, it is probably the last generation of non-local, non-attached fans that might have been attracted to us as a successful club at the time they began their interest in what was arguably even then the world's biggest league. Could be, but perhaps still just a PR exercise.

Doubt that would influence any potential bidder, if somebody buys the club they will do what the fuck they want, I.e not give a guarantee that BMD will remain a fully owned asset etc.

Isn’t it written into the lease with peel that it stays owned by the club? I have no idea how watertight that is and I’d imagine the lease can be renegotiated but as I’ve seen written elsewhere Peel are ruthless and would use the opportunity to crank up the ground rent.

Not sure about the lease but would obviously be good if that were the case.

What I do know is with BMD becoming more visible it seems to be a big deal for the potential bidders. The BBC have said an offer of £400 million has been tabled with a member of the Saudi Royal family involved. No idea if it’s 100% bona fide
