I'd rather support a different team tbh right now!
Haha fair enough!

Finished isn’t he.
Cant rely on him unfortunately.
Shame as he’s a brilliant player but we need to react and get a centre half in the summer.
Yerry Mina isn't he, world class on his day and a game changer defensively when he's playing but we're never getting 25+ games a season out of him. Makes Stones look about as injury prone as Ronaldo.

From a really clinical, selfish point of view it’s looking like we’re a potential £80m down in the future, and in the present we’ll be seeing a lot more of Tarkowski and/or Keane for quite a bit longer

For the rest of this season maybe. Given how he’s played this season I wouldn’t be averse to promoting Keane from 4th to 3rd CB next season but JOB has to be first choice centre half next season if Branthwaite is crocked again. We’ve surely got to address the full back situation even if it is 5 years too late.

Yeah, probably the two best centre halves we’ve had in terms of performances they offer when they’re fully at it.
Constant breakdowns for the lad.
He’s done. At best he’s stays at us and maybe has the odd decent run of games here and there.
Shame, even today he showed how good he was with how he used the ball.

Thought the same.
Love him but it’s time to look beyond, hopefully he can take some time and build back up, but I am not putting any hopes on him as a future player for us.

In hindsight I wish we'd have taken Man U's money, didn't think it a the time of course, but we sure would have been better off had we done it.

Meh, let's see how bad the injury is before writing off his career!

From what I saw he was clutching the area right near to where there is a massive scar down most of his thigh.
Propably not a good sign.

Accordingly to a piece in The Athletic by Paddy a few weeks ago, were prioritising a RB, striker and a CB this summer. So now we’re looking at 2x CBs so we’ll just extend Keane again.

To try and put a positive spin on things (I know I’m majorly clutching at straws)
he wasn’t gonna make the World Cup squad anyway and he’s got the rest of April, all of May June and July to get back fit. Timing of this injury is at least better than if it would have been in August
He’s still young and he’s far too good a player to just totally write off
Just praying to God he’s back and we get a full season out of him next year
Trying to stay optimistic

It's deja vu again he did his hammy at the end of last season, only to do it again in pre-season and had surgery, let's hope we get it right this time. And doesn't have a setback in August.

It’s been two years of constant injuries, and bad ones at that.
Started the season injured, had another breakdown, didn’t play until late in the season and has gone off with another bad one.
It’s fine if people are fearing the worst.

Isn't this the third season on the trot he has got injured at the tail end (maybe one was in pre-season)?
I am sure this was the second time he missed the start of a season (and potentially will be the third next year?
If it's not 3 on the trot, it's certainly 3 out of 4
