I’ve lived in Boston for 15 years. Summers are beautiful as humidity is very low, even if the temp reaches 90.

North Carolina can get really hot, whether you are near the shore or central/west. My son is in college west of Raleigh and it was 90-95 with humidity in August and early September. Generally, it will dip in to the 50’s during height of winter, but it can stay in 60s or 70s then as well.

Love how random our threads can go off topic lol, we should rename this to “a place in the sun”

I should have started my response with taking this down another road! A warm road! ;)

Bringing it back to the topic. Since I’m from the States I can find a groundhog today and see if he finds his shadow. If he does, it’s a FFP ruling by end of next week. If no shadow, it’s March!

Will be next week I think.

MNF build-up is 90 minutes long. We're at home. I think for better or worse (probably worse), they'll try to avoid pictures like the Man United match and they won't want someone like Carragher tearing them apart on TV.

Much easier to release the news after Monday when we don't play at home again until the start of March and not on TV. Possibility 777 takeover as a distraction as well.

Surely this shouldn't be allowed given they are meant to be independent.

Bless

I've just seen Dyche's press conference for the Palace match is being held Saturday morning. Maybe related. Maybe not.

We are moving to Alberta, -10 is rookie numbers

I will never see -10 again and be able to think about temperatures.

Says everything about the PLs fit and proper person test.
The club is fucked by the sheer incompetence and ineptitude of both moshiri and the PL.

I don't mean to suggest any sort of conspiracy (I don't believe that, and feel we are almost curely guilty af), but my worry about "why they might make an example of us" remains - we aren't quite "too big to fail" but are "big enough to send a message."

Clearly has been taken as a shot across the bow by other clubs, higher and lower on the food chain.

My spitball estimation says to expect a combined points hit (from the two rolling 3-year periods) of 14-16. I think the initial 10 gets hacked back a little, but not much.

All logic suggests that the second punishment has to be smaller than the 1st as its more about being in financial trouble now than overspending

TBH I don’t think the 38,000 placards calling them corrupt will have endeared us to them.

Sometimes, the truth hurts.

I couldn't give a flying fuck about whether we've hurt Richard Masters' feelings. He's an obnoxious little bellend who I wouldn't trust to run a fucking sweet club, never mind the multi-billion pound business that is the Premier League.

Corrupt as Fuck is exactly what the Premier League is. Everybody knows it. Everton fans have been the only ones with the cojones to say it out loud though!
