Surely, if he's up for it and is prepared to take a cut. I mean, he's never gonna struggle is he. He'd be playing every week and with a world cup coming up, what more incentive do you need

I meeeeeean it's a big expensive post peak signing from a top club.

On loan tho I mean, yeah go on, let's raise the ceiling a bit.

Where does he play, 10? Part of a 3?

This is very, very stupid (ironclad rule of mine, you never want a player who feels like he's slumming/doing you a favour). Or I am very wrong. I am indeed wrong an awful lot.

I'm still not convinced he hasn't called time a little on his career, I don't think he's going to Dele Alli it or anything but I wonder if he still has the hunger to get back to his best and into the England squad.

But, he wouldn't be the first to go to Man City and lose his way a little and if we can get 75% peak Grealish it would still be a great loan deal.

Well, he ought to be fresh as he hasn't wasted any effort on football for a long while.

It's about knowing where his head is at. Don't think he's too arsed about England one way or the other but if he wants to prove people wrong and play properly, there could be an upside.

I think he'll absolutely love it at Everton.

Would we have him back in his Villa role or is he not able to do that anymore?
