He does. Says his Grandad is from Holyhead... utter bollocks...

I'm definitely a little hypocritical though, because my links to Liverpool are tenuous, but I've at least watched us regularly and get to Liverpool as much as I can and have done since the early 90s.

haha it just makes me laugh. All these reds who are scattered up and down the country all have family from Liverpool and yet despite the city being 50/50 between the clubs, there's nowhere near the same number of Evertonians about. Almost like the vast majority are try-hard bullshitters!

Chelsea have looked decent like 2-0 up against Milan after 8 minutes. I fancy Man City this season though.

I think its a disgrace that the comms are saying all this stuff about Jota looking down and goosebumps etc, its crass.

It is horrendous and upsetting and heartbreaking what happened to him, enough, without this faux poetic shite that they try and crow bar in to every game.

Salisbury sent off a Milan lad for being last man in the Chelsea match. What's the point in sending him off in a friendly?

I know the club World Cup went largely under the radar, but Chelsea I thought used it pretty well to bed in new players. They looked a different team by the end of it and the way the took apart PSG was pretty impressive.

I’m not sure you’d call them dark horses as they regularly win many things but I’d not rule them out this season. Would be surprised if they didn’t do a lot better than last season.

I’ve not seen much of Arsenal or Man City in terms of their pre seasons though so will be interesting to see how it goes but top 4 feels already set to me.

Had that been at the other end Liverpool would’ve been given to hat handball penalty.

Have to say although I’m sure they’ll do well this season. I think VVD and Salah feel like they’re getting past their best. Cue Salah scoring 50 goals this season.
