Seems he's a player that Moyes has been in for before as well, hopefully if that's the case then the recruitment committee have also been involved and agree he's worth attempting to sign.

Based on his Spain numbers it would make sense but Barry had 13 goals in Spain last season and that isn’t replicating itself

Yeah this one really doesn't excite me - I know transfer fees are inflated but £20m for a 1 in 4 28 year old striker who has never played in a physical league before seems like iffy business. He's one of those where you watch the "highlight" video and majority of his goals are mishits or poor goalkeeping.

I get that Beto isn't it, but this guy isn't either and would have no resale value - would be very disappointed if this happened. He's also another player with no pace

Last couple of seasons he’s been a 1 in 2 striker which is decent no matter what league your in especially compared to our current crop of 1 in 11 strikers

Never anything wrong with a loan with an Option to buy.

Try before you buy. I'm presuming if or when this gets done it surely must mean we are selling Beto.

If we can use the pennies from that to sign a RB/LB then it's good business.

Surely even any bog standard striker MUST be better than Beto.

He just has to be able to do the basics to be an upgrade.

We must have scouts at afcon so surprised we aren’t looking at their starting strikers rather than one on the bench

@Cereal Killer are you over there 😳

Moyes is 2 for 2 so far with Grealish and KDH, so fingers crossed.
