Tbh, we don't need to sign anybody. The points deduction means that we're not pushing for anything in terms of European qualification and we're not going to be in a relegation battle. Just wait until the summer before getting involved in any transfer business.
Yeah that, and DON'T SELL JB or AO!

Think well go back in for Gnonto

I don't think he even starts for Leeds these days. Always comes in a sub, not sure why they were so adamant to keep him. Same with Sulemana at Southampton.

If we can get any of our targets over the line then we still should despite the likelihood of Europe etc being low this season. Long term planning is key so we can bed someone in for a few months and then give them a full pre-season. I’d like to see us target a young CB to be understudy to Tarkowski, maybe go back in for Gnonto if it’s on, and look at a new RB but I think a purchase will be unlikely. I’m mostly happy with the other positions. Target a CM in summer when Gana leaves

Gnonto can't get in the Leeds team. Should be after him at a much lower price than was reported in the summer

Why, so he'll be sat next to Danjuma? No thanks, swerve.

I meant if we wanted him rather than we should want him

Does seem strange how we strongly chased Gnonto considering how little Danjuma featured. Haven't seen much of Gnonto where I've been impressed with his tracking back.

Dodged a bullet with Cornet. No need to thrust ourselves into the path of another one.

He’s more of a ball carrier though, the type who can get goals on the break on his own when you’re outclassed in a game, Danjuma can’t really do that

When we were looking at Gnonto, we were very much in a hole, we didn't have any sort of defined style and I think we were just looking around for mobile young forwards who might be affordable.
Fast forward a few months, and we're starting to have a style, a predicable lineup when everyone's fit and I think probably some of our recruitment targets might've changed. I don't see Gnonto particularly fitting into that profile now.

Nah, Doucs has said he isn't going. Only went to one international break with Mali and I'm guessing he didn't fancy it.
Great news for us.
