One of the first strikers I remember when I first started following Everton so many years ago.

There's a few of my mates round here who are big Albion fans. His record there is something like 6 goals in 40 odd games at the age of about 34/35. They all speak fondly of him for the graft he put in that year they became the first to stop up having been bottom at Xmas. Really hoping he gets through it.

This is sad news. Solid pro and appears to have always been a lovely chap. Fingers crossed he gets better.
