Armstrong looks like he has a real chance of being a PL player.
If he’s around, it needs to be because we think he can start regularly in the PL today.
Otherwise, we need to buy another CM and loan him back out.
We absolutely cannot have him around as a rotation option unless we want to squander his upside.
Along with everything else, managing players from our academy better, utilising loans and appearances at the right time to maximise development must be an absolute priority. It would be interesting to see which team makes the most money from the sale of their academy prospects as well as who gets the most first team appearances and seeing what their template is.

Had to pause it for a bit, Clarke had some great touches though didn't he? Never heard of him before but he was a fun player to watch in his cameo.
Wonder when this will be - could it become the first first team fixture played at HD?

Speaking of which, here's the first team training at HD for the first time earlier today
Oh, Mister Drone has pulled it - wonder if the club weren't happy with him getting the exclusive

Blackburn tomorrow, I miss a game at Ewood Park.
It was the first Everton game I went to, November 1997, lost 3-2, I worked for the CIS Insurance who were Blackburn's sponsors at the time so we could get cheap tickets but we had to sit in the main stand. Probably wouldn't get tickets now but they used to open the whole away stand up and you could get tickets no problem. Me and a mate decided on matchday that we'd go, phoned the club and managed to get tickets so jumped in the car and went down. 2005 I think it was, won 2-0, it was only the way home listening to the radio that we realised Martyn had gone off at half time and Wright replaced him.

My first ever Everton game was against Blackburn in 95, we got beat 2 1 and they went on to win the league.
I am going tomorrow, can't wait.

Came into my feed earlier and wanted to watch it later, now couldn't find it. Figured something like this happened.

You didn’t miss much, bit of digital advertising boards and a few blokes running about.

Looks like our likely starting 11 for the opening game (minus Pickford of course) if Patterson can play well for the whole of pre season

Looks like our current best eleven minus Pickford and Tarkowski.
That’s a solid baseline. 2 or 3 quality additions, some of those players become squad/rotation options, things look much healthier overall.

I take it Coleman injured himself signing his new contract?
