Weve been drab but to be fair im not sure pickford has made a save either. The odds gave us less than a 25% chance of winning so its not like its some sort of massive underperformance

First 20 minutes Brighton dominated but after that it has been a bit of a nothing half. We certainly haven’t done a whole lot and are happy to just defend and try and nick it

Just me that thinks this is fine then? Always a tactical battle against this type of side. We're well in the match and managing the game fine. Think Moyes has shown enough on the road to be given the benefit of the doubt here.
I don't think we have done anything but Brighton have had one decent chance and have offered nothing. It's possibly the most boring half of football I've ever seen but we wouldn't need to do much to win it

The most 6/10 half you will ever see from us. That’s what happens when you play 4 CBs I suppose.

I'm ok with it, as long as we don't lose. He'll see it as mission accomplished against a decent side away from home.
We stay in the game, frustrate them and then grow into it after the hour mark as it starts to open up, or they make a mistake before than and we capitalise.
I think we are capable of more but we've also shown thos year how fragile we still are when we go behind against decent sides who can play a bit, so I get it.

Where Everton stands today I think it's totally ok but It doesn't look great and when we loose with this approach we really look like the worst team in the league.
If Everton wants to become a top team with European football I have this feeling you need a different approach and more vision around how you want to attack without planing everything based on your opponents potential weaknesses.
